The Opportunity

Alecto Recruitment are searching for a Workshop Plant Fitter (also suitable for: Plant Engineer, Heavy Plant Mechanic, Mobile Plant Fitter, Construction Plant Technician, Service Engineer) to join a highly respected plant hire & equipment specialist based in Rugby.

You'll primarily be workshop-based, with the occasional mobile job when needed. Perfect if you like variety but prefer not to live out of your van.

What You'll Work On

You'll service, repair, and maintain a wide range of construction plant, including:

  • Diggers & Excavators
  • Dumpers & Rollers
  • Telehandlers
  • Petrol, Diesel & Electric Power Tools
  • Small Plant & Light Construction Machinery

This is a role for someone who loves problem-solving, fault-finding, and keeping machines running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

If you have experience in ANY of the following, we want to hear from you:

  • Construction plant maintenance
  • HGV, agricultural or forklift engineering
  • Diesel engines, hydraulics, electrics, or diagnostics
  • Workshop or field-based mechanical repair

Whether you're a seasoned Plant Fitter or a skilled Mechanic looking to step into the plant world, your experience is valued here.
