Alecto Recruitment are currently working with a Large Recycling Company in their pursuit for a new Electrical Technician.

We are currently looking for an Electrical Technician with relevant experience to work on a day and night shift basis within a Recycling Facility in Essex.

Job Brief

To support the Engineering Team with all Operational Electrical Engineering.

During this role, you will be required to;

• Work alongside a shift team of skilled workers during shifts.
• Provide advice and expertise on the current running of the plant when requested.
• Comply with all health and safety to the highest standard.
• Monitor performance and standards on shift.
• Assist Management and Supervisors with plant running.
• Carry out preventative, responsive and pre-planned maintenance.
• Use CMMS Systems to comply with existing site procedures.

Requirements

• MUST hold either 17th or 18th Edition.
• Ideally hold an HNC, Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Should have completed an Apprenticeship within Engineering.
• Proven experience within Heavy Industrial Engineering.
• Experience within a Waste, Recycling, Power, or Process plant Facility.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and Controls Systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

Package Details

• Salary is £50,000 a year.
• This role is worked on a 4 on 4 off shift basis, based on 12-hour shifts, Days and Nights.
• This opportunity comes with a vast amount of training and a clear progression route within the company.

• This role would suit an experienced person with experience within any Heavy Industry environment.
