Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from qualified Electricians and Electrical Engineers who have experience in industrial environments to join our client in Essex as an Electrical Field Service Engineer.

Working across a portfolio of power stations, process plants and industrial environments you will assist the electrical engineering team in carrying out installations, commissioning, maintenance and overhaul of largescale rotating equipment.

Job Brief

• Carrying out a range of electrical tasks and duties on industrial plant and rotating equipment.
• Installation, testing, fault finding, maintenance and commissioning machinery.
• Assisting in electrical works at the company workshop.
• Ensuring the maintenance reports and logs are kept up to date
• Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out within defined budgets
• Ensuring compliance to all health & safety & legal requirements
• Working as part of a call out rota.

Requirements

• MUST hold a Full UK Drivers Licence.
• Apprentice trained, ideally indentured apprenticeship.
• We are looking for Electrically trained Engineers, Technicians and/or Fitters, who have training and experience with rotating equipment and heavy industrial plant.
• For example, work on compressors, pumps, turbines, generators, water or wastewater equipment, power generation plant.
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical qualifications.
• Full driving licence.
• Based in Hertfordshire, Essex, London or Kent.

Package Details

• This role is worked Monday to Friday with a 1 in 5 Call Out Rota.
• This opportunity comes with a vast amount of training and possibility of Overtime.
• Field Service Package includes Van, Tools, Fuel Card.
• Overtime is paid at 1.5x minimum.
